TO: Listeners – THIS is the place to discover podcasts you’d otherwise be likely to miss. All of our reviews are provided to you as a free service. Many or most of our podcast reviews are also provided to of the “larger” or major podcasters as a free service. Less well-known producers of podcasts pay us for an HONEST review – good, bad, or a little of both so you can find out about their work and can decide which ones you want to give a try. That way, you get the best of the biggest and the smallest (and the ones in the middle), and find out about the ones that may not be worth your time. The old saying is “you pay your fee and you take your choice. There’s no fee to you, but it’s still your choice.


To: Podcasters – THIS is the place to get your podcast reviewed by an impartial reviewer. You can pay us a relatively minimal sum to put your podcast listing on our site and get a review, BUT YOU CAN’T BUY A GOOD REVIEW. Our reviews are always honest, so you might get a good one, but even if it’s not a review reflecting perfection, more listeners are likely to find you. And when we do a review that criticizes your ‘cast, it’s in the spirit of trying to be helpful.


Also, if your podcast is political in nature, I don’t care about your politics and the review won’t be based on where you stand on the political spectrum. The criteria I use in the reviews, as you can see in the reviews already posted, are how interesting and entertaining you make your podcast, and what might be called “production values,” e.g., can we hear you well, do you use “bumper music,” etc.


Pricing info and how the process works. Please submit the information that will get us most easily to your podcast, such as the name and what podcast platform is carrying your work.
